Knife Reduction Crime

Morning Residents,

It's a UK -wide week run by the Police called op Sceptre.

The Op is designed to do 3 things :

1 Take knives of the street - Sweeps, surrender bins, arrests.

2 Visiting retail shops and stores, ensuring knives are not sold to  under 18's.

3 Educate young people- school talks, first aid training to stop knife carrying before it starts.

The reason for this is, to stop, and catch knives now, to prevent knife crime later by changing attitudes and offering young people alternative options.
